Linda Tedford, Vice President
Linda Tedford joined Lilja Communications in 2011 as vice president, focusing on business development and providing communications consulting to Lilja clients, especially to foundations and nonprofit organizations. She also works closely with Lilja LifeStories clients, interviewing, writing and managing book projects for individuals and businesses.
She brings a 25-year career in major and planned gift fundraising to Lilja as the firm broadens its service to nonprofits and LifeStories clients. Before joining the Lilja team, Linda served as vice president for the Ebenezer Foundation and senior development officer for the Fairview Foundation. She also has worked in planned giving at Carleton College, the University of Chicago and The Minneapolis Foundation.
Linda received her bachelor's degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. She currently serves as Board Chair for the Normandale Center for Healing and Wholeness.
Away from the office, Linda spends her time enjoying local music venues with her partner, helping to guide the busy lives of her young adult son and daughter, and playing with her dog, Chloe, and her son's service dog, Allie (when Allie isn't working).
