We’re looking for a full-time communications associate to join the Lilja Communications team. A snapshot of your responsibilities includes drafting news releases, articles and other materials, proofing and editing with your eagle eye, monitoring media, managing timelines and tracking projects, including our LifeStories books, and managing day-to-day client needs.

We also have a soft spot for the book business. Our LifeStories work includes writing, producing and marketing books that range from personal and business histories to colorful and creative children’s books.
The ideal candidate will have a background in communications, journalism or public relations, along with one to two years of experience working in the field. Strong editing, proofreading and project management skills are a must. Experience with social media, SEO, design and HTML coding is a plus!
Requirements for the job include strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to prioritize work, multi-task and be flexible. Extra points if you can discern the difference between Chicago and AP style.
